First blog. First post. Teaching an old dog new tricks.

Wow, my first blog. My first post. It's hard to concentrate, as I have an episode of The Sopranos playing beside me here. I'm suddenly addicted to western TV. Or rather, I always have been, but Japan seems to be the only country in Asia where The Sopranos, Seinfeld, South Park, Battlestar Gallactica and dozens of other excellent shows just don't rate.

Then 2 weeks ago, the day after I got back from Thailand, I discovered the wonder of BIT TORRENT. It's been a downloading extravaganza, with mostly sleepless nights up watching TV. Anyway, the next item on my things-to-learn-how-to-do list was create a blog. And here it is. Next up is learn-how-to-day-trade. Stay tuned for more about that, and some entries about recent trips around Asia.
